Suzy is developing a broad civil litigation practice. She has particular interests in corporate and commercial disputes, public law, defamation, and appellate litigation. Suzy has appeared or assisted with matters before various tribunals, all levels of court in British Columbia, and at the Supreme Court of Canada.

Before joining Poulus Ensom LLP, Suzy clerked for the Honourable Justice Phelan and the Honourable Justice Barnes at the Federal Court. She gained invaluable experience related to administrative law, Aboriginal law, and class actions. Prior to that, Suzy articled at a commercial litigation boutique in Vancouver.

Suzy obtained her law degree and Master of Public Administration jointly from the University of Victoria. During law school, she competed in the Wilson Moot and published a paper on the life, liberty, and security of person section of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms that has since been cited by multiple parties in appellate proceedings. She also completed a co-op term with the British Columbia Office of the Ombudsperson.
